Every town with a published figure, ranked on reading, with the math figure and its rank beside it and the school types each figure rests on.
Share proficient = resident students scoring Level 3 or 4 ÷ resident students tested, as the state publishes it for each town and school type (the town's own district, its regional district, magnets, charters, technical high schools and so on). The state publishes no single all-types figure per town, so this page computes one: the mean of the published school-type figures, weighted by each type's resident enrollment. For most towns a single school type holds more than 90% of resident students and the weighting changes nothing; every figure lists the types it rests on.
Scores track family circumstances closely. The results-vs-demographics page ranks districts on how far their results sit from what their demographics predict, and each town's own School Results page compares its district with fifteen districts serving similar students.
