Each cell is the town's figure with its rank (#1 = lowest) among the towns with a published figure for that measure. Click a column heading to sort by it; click again to reverse. The figures describe students who live in the town, wherever they attend school, for the school year named in each heading; the list below the table says what each column measures.
“not published” = the state withheld every school-type figure for the town (fewer than 20 resident students tested in any one type), or the town's resident students have no school type that takes that test. A rank is a position, not a grade.

The test measures track family circumstances closely (on this site’s model, six family-background variables explain most of the variation in the state’s achievement index between districts). The results-vs-demographics ranking shows how far each district's results sit from what its students' demographics predict, and each town's own School Results page compares its district with fifteen districts serving similar students. Spending is on the per-student page; this page does not combine the two.
