Colchester Public Schools - JJIS Lego Team Wins Award
The JJIS Megawhats Lego Team, under the leadership of Renee Anderson, competed at the
Lego state finals in December. Their design won the Robot Design Award. The award goes to
the team that uses outstanding programming principles along with solid engineering practices.
Students had to design a robot that was mechanically sound, durable, efficient, and highly
capable of performing challenging missions.
