MICHELLE MILLINGTON AND AMY EMORY
COLCHESTER – Monday, July 25, 2022 – “The Colchester Board of Education would like to
welcome Colchester resident, Michelle Millington, to the Board of Education. Michelle and her
family have been residents of Colchester since 2004. Michelle has been involved in social
services for almost twenty (20) years and has worked with children and school staff in many
districts throughout the state. Michelle is grateful for the positive experiences her children have
had in Colchester Public Schools and is looking forward to continuing the good work of the
Board and District.”
“The Colchester Board of Education would also like to welcome Amy Emory to Colchester
Public Schools as the new Director of Pupil Services and Special Education. Amy has an
extensive background of over thirty (30) years in special education. She has been the Director
of Special Education in Billerica, Massachusetts for the past five (5) years and the Director of
Pupil Services for Connecticut Region 13 for the fourteen (14) years prior. Amy’s enthusiasm
and devotion to special education students is a wonderful fit for Colchester Public Schools and
we are excited to have her join our District.”
