Dear Colchester Parents and Families,

As you know, several surrounding communities have recently added concealed armed security
personnel in schools when school is in session. While none of us like this, it is unfortunately,
the world we currently live in.

Providing concealed armed security in our four (4) school buildings will cost approximately
$150,000. Connecticut law requires that any armed security must be either retired
Connecticut State Troopers or retired local Law Enforcement Officers.

I would appreciate you answering the following two (2) questions at the link provided:

   1. What Colchester School(s) do your child(ren) attend?

   2. Would you support having concealed armed security present in schools when school is
      in session?
