proficient in more than one language, showcasing
their linguistic talents.
Department of Labor Pre-apprenticeship
Certification: 23 students graduated with
credentials that highlight their occupational
competencies and readiness for employment.
Youth Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative (YMPI):
5 students passed this rigorous assessment,
indicating their preparedness for careers in
manufacturing. 19 students passed the
Manufacturing Skills Inventory; part of YMPI.

District Performance - At a Glance
College and Career Readiness: 99% of students in grades 11 and 12 have met the college and career
readiness benchmark set forth by the State of Connecticut.
Science: Average NGSS scores for grades 5, 8, and 11 rose from 63% to 65%. The overall percentage of
students performing at benchmark on science assessments remains steady.
Mathematics: Smarter Balanced scores for grades 3-8 and CT-SAT for grade 11 both remain stable with
cohorts of increased performance.
Literacy: Performance remained steady with a consistent proficiency rate in DIBELS for grades K-2 and
increases in Smarter Balanced for grades 3-8 and CT-SAT for grade 11.
High Needs: We are exceeding State-level performance in this area. An opportunity to further
accelerate growth and close gaps exists.
Post-Graduation Pathways: The diverse paths chosen by the Class of 2025 reflect the comprehensive
education provided by Bacon Academy.
