Hello Dan,
As you are very aware, the portable classrooms behind the gym at BA are well beyond their usable life. We
have significantly reduced our usage of the 8 spaces there, due to concerns with the portables. To date, we
have noted safety concerns related to:
multiple water leaks from the roof
compromised plumbing in bathrooms
problems with a variety of pests, likely related to deteriorating siding
failure and closure of part of the decks leading to the main entry
two cases of fire alarm activation that were faulty
| would request that we bring the matter forward to the Board of Ed's facility committee in order to devise a
plan of action to address the portables.
