According to the Board of Education Policy on weeding (6163.1 [e&f]),
the library at Jack lackter Intermediate School would like to remove
approximately 80 books from the library collection.
Titles to be removed have one or more of the following conditions:
> worn, damaged and/or soiled.
> not circulated in 10 years or longer.
> outdated and containing inaccurate or incomplete information
> already duplicated in the collection
> no longer support the curriculum or student interest
> information has been superseded by newer materials
> some have been donated by parents or PTO
All materiats have been offered to teachers or students for classroom
libraries or to take home.
