Sullivan, [ll and Director of Pupil Services Eve Hurley OTHERS PRESENT : Director of Finance and Operations Rachel Linkkila, Assistant Director of Finance and Operations Alexis Cook and Executive Assistant to the Superintendent Alyssa Fratoni 1. MEETING OPENING 1.1. Call to Order C. Rivers called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM 1.2 Roll Call . A.Oliphant in person C. Rivers via phone 2. PUBLIC COMMENT 2.1. For Public Comments, please see Bylaw on Meeting Conduct No public comment 3. *CONSENT AGENDA 3.1. *Approval of Budget Finance Committee Meeting Minutes of November 6, 2024 Motion by: C. Rivers Motion to approve Budget Finance Committee Meeting Minutes of November 6, 2024 Second: A.Oliphant Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried E.Hurley arrived at 9:04 AM 4. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION / ACTION ITEMS 4.1. *Budget Reports R. Linkkila went over the October 2024 and November 2024 Budget Reports and explained overages. She also went over the Cafeteria Financials and the Health Reserve from the Board of Education and the Town. C. Rivers asked that at the January meeting, we go over what the plan is to spend the excess money in the Cafeteria Financials. Motion by: C. Rivers Motion to approve the Monthly Budget Reports presented Second: A.Oliphant Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried Superintendent Sullivan arrived at 9:09 AM 4.2. Budget Transfers R. Linkkila stated that there are no budget transfers for this month, but they will be ready for next month’s meeting. 4.3. Special Education Update E. Hurley stated that-her office is monitoring a few students that are being transitioned back to Colchester from Out of District. She stated that they are working with M&J Bus Company to get mini buses instead of vans to significantly bring down the cost of Special Education Transportation. C. Rivers suggested that we have a discussion in the next meeting on how to roll this information to the public. 5. AD T Motion by: A.Oliphant Motion to adjourn.
