I am writing to notify you of my resignation from my position as Paraprofessional. My final day
will be June 18, 2024.
I would like to thank everyone I worked with for making my experience at Jack Jackter
Elementary School so enjoyable and educational. I will be continuing on to a teaching
certification program at CCSU. I am glad to have the experience working at Jack Jackter
Elementary School and I look forward to sharing my memories as first-hand experiences with the
education system within my own education in the future.
Please let me know any way I can make this transition easier on everyone. I will be available to
discuss replacements and I am willing to help train any incoming prospects that you may be
considering.
Thank you so much for all the opportunities I’ve been given and for working so closely with me
to improve my teaching abilities.. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion I

1am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have spent the past three years as a paraprofessional in the WJJMS Math
SRBI program, and it is with conflicted emotions that | have decided that | will be stepping down from my position at the
end of this school year in June.
My job as a film editor will be a priority this upcoming year as | continue working on a documentary about a Cambodian
refugee. If however, the SRBI math para position isn't filled, and WJJ has interest, | would be interested to return on a
part-time basis in the future.

school year. I have been a public school teacher for 39 years. I was fortunate to be hired by the
Colchester School District in 1990 and have had the pleasure of touching the lives of hundreds of
Colchester’s children and families for the last 34 years. It was always a dream of mine to be a teacher,
and itis truly who I am. This decision has been a very difficult one, as teaching is my passion. | cherish
all of the wonderful memories of students and colleagues with whom I have worked. It is truly a special
