RELATIONS BETWEEN AREA, STATE, REGIONAL, AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS AND THE
SCHOOLS
The Board of Education shall review memberships annually through its budget deliberations. If such memberships
are approved, budget shall include funding for such memberships.
The Board of Education, in maintaining such membership, in no way abdicates its authority over the responsibility
for the schools of the district as outlined in state law and Board of Education policy.
The Superintendent of Schools shall budget funds for membership, approved by the Board and for the costs of
adequate participation of Board of Education, administration and staff in the activities of such associations to
achieve the purposes listed above.
