D. Antonacci called the meeting to order at 2:19 PM

All present. Superintendent Sullivan arrived at 2:23 PM

Motion to approve minutes from May 22, 2024 Policy Committee Meeting.

4. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION / ACTION ITEMS
4.1 *Discussion and Possible Action on Policy 1325 Advertising and Promotion in the
School System
After long discussion, the Committee came to the decision that more research
needs to be done and that a meeting needs to be held with the Superintendent, Bacon
Academy Principal and Bacon Academy Athletic Director to discuss the matters of this policy.
Superintendent Sullivan left the meeting at 3:16 PM.
4.2 “Discussion and Possible Action on Series 2000 Board of Education Policies
The Committee decided to table this until the next meeting due to time
constraints and the need for input from the Superintendent.
The Committee planned the next four Policy Committee Meetings:
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 4:30 PM
Thursday, June 13, 2024 3:30 PM
Thursday, June 20, 2024 2:00 PM
Thursday, June 27, 2024 3:30 PM
