Antonacci Motion to add review items from 9000 Series Second: M Gignac Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried Motion by: D. Antonacci Motion to remove Policies 0300 Policies and Bylaws for Colchester Public Schools, 9310 Development, Distribution and Maintenance of Manual of Policies, Regulations, ByLaws, and 9401 Policy Review due to redundancies in Policy 93/1 Policies. Policies 0300, 9310 and 9401 will be brought to the full Board at the next Board of Education Regular Meeting. Second: M Gignac Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried Motion by: D. Antonacci Motion to edit Policy 2231 Policy and Regulations Systems due to the need to meet more current technical standards. Policy 2231 Policy and Regulations Systems will be brought to the full Board at the next Board of Education Regular Meeting for First Read. Policy 5123 Promotion/Retention/Acceleration Policy will be brought to the full Board at the next Board of Education Regular Meeting for First Read. Antonacci Motion to keep as posted Policies 9314 Suspension of Policies, ByLaws, Regulations and 9321 Time, Place and Notice of Meetings. Policies 9314 Suspension of Policies, ByLaws, Regulations and 9321 Time, Place and Notice of Meetings will not be brought to the full Board at the next Board of Education Regular Meeting due to no revisions. Second: M Gignac Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried Motion by: D. Antonacci Motion to remove Policy 0050 Code of Ethics due to redundancies in Policy 9272 Code of Coduct and Expectations . Policy 0050 Code of Ethics will be brought to the full Board at the next Board of Education Regular Meeting. Second: M Gignac Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried Motion by: D. Antonacci Motion to remove Policy 0200 Mission-Goals-Objetives District Goals due to it being dictated by the State Statute and adhered to by the administration. Policy 0200 Mission-Goals-Objetives District Goals will be brought to the full Board at the next Board of Education Regular Meeting. Second: M Gignac Roll Call: All in favor Vote: Motion carried 4. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION / ACTION ITEMS 4.1 *Series 1000 Board of Education Policies The Committee discussed Policies 0500 Comprehensive Long-Range Planning, 1000 Concept, Goals, and Roles in Community Relations and 1110.1 School, Family, and Community Partnerships. After discussion, the Committee thinks they are all necessary but need edits and removals. D. Antonacci will work on the rewording of the Policies and bring to next Policy Committee Meeting for review. 5. ADJOURNMENT Motion by: M. Gignac Moved to adjourn. Second: S.
