lam resigning from my position as the school psychologist at Colchester Elementary School
with mixed emotions. It has been my honor to serve in this position for almost 20 years with
amazing staff who are talented, professional, and dedicated to educating our youngest
learners. | have recently relocated to New York to be closer to family and | have spent this
current school year in transition, working away from my new home. This decision to leave
during the school year and the hardship this may cause my school family did not come easily.
Due to the sadness and stress of being away from my spouse and an opening for a school
psychologist position close to my New York home, | made my choice to take better care of
myself and resign. | extend my gratitude and appreciation to my heroes: my Colchester
Elementary School colleagues.
