Dear Judy,
Please accept this letter of my formal notice of my resignation as a classroom teacher at
Colchester Elementary School, effective today July 31st, 2022.
After a long period of consideration, | regret that | will no longer be abie to continue my teaching
career in Colchester due to relocating to another state. My fiance lives in New Hampshire and
after considering many things including our careers, our families, and our future we came to the
decision to remain in New Hampshire at this time.
| started my teaching career in Colchester almost thirteen years ago and have loved working
with you and my colleagues every day | have walked through the doors of CES. | write this
letter with tears in my eyes having to say goodbye to my colleagues, my students and the
Colchester community that | consider a part of my family. | know the future brings many exciting
chapters and | know Colchester will always be with me but please know that coming to the
decision was not an easy one. The tears rolling down my cheek emanate from knowing how
blessed and honored | am to have had the opportunity to work in such an amazing community
both inside and outside of CES.
Thank you for all of your exceptional leadership, support and everything | have learned while
growing as an educator at CES. | would not be the teacher | am today without the many
spectacular people | have had the opportunity to work with and learn from each day. It has been
a privilege being a teacher at Colchester Elementary School.
