According to the Board of Education Policy on weeding (6163.1 [e&f]),
the library at Jack Jackter Intermediate School would like to remove
approximately 3000 books from the library collection and classroom
libraries.
Titles to be removed have one or more of the following conditions:
worn, damaged and/or soiled
not circulated in 10 years or longer
outdated and containing inaccurate or incomplete information
duplicated in the collection
information has been superseded by newer materials

All materials have been offered to teachers for classroom libraries.
Both staff and students have been asked if they would like these
materials and they have declined the offer.
