| am writing this letter to say that | need to retire at the end of the 2021 - 2022 school
year. It is with sadness that | am writing this letter because | have truly enjoyed my
teaching experience at WJJMS and for the Colchester Public School System for the
past 18 years. It has been a great and rewarding experience and pleasure to have
taught at WJJMS because of the true professionalism, constant support and sincere
thoughtfulness of the school administration and my colleagues. WJJMS is a truly special
school, at which to have a teaching experience and | will miss seeing my students,
colleagues and entire WJJMS family on a daily basis. | will truly cherish all of my fond
memories of our school community and family.
| understand that the deadline for retirement notification was October 1st but because of
an unforeseen life changing medical family situation | am asking the superintendent to
make an exception and allow me to collect my severance pay based on my unused sick
time.
