To Whom It May Concern,
You should be so proud of your students and 80 plus homemade cards that
they made to spread Valentine cheer that was given to Compassus Hospice
patients. These children may be a bit young to understand what it really
means to be in hospice and to know the struggles of those on the receiving
end of this effort, but with reading the cards to our patients these students
really do know the impact of kindness.
The simple smiles that these cards put on our patients face during a difficult
time. Amazing artwork and with simple messages like, "hope you feel better."
And for someone in hospice, a simple smile can help them feel better.
"Especially when you are a hospice patient, they know what they're headed
for, bringing the community just to show that they care, it's important for the
kids to do it so it's great to see.
It was a great lesson the students during this difficult time. They Are our future
and as they are growing and maturing it doesn't take much to show love and
care. And how it will go a long way.
Compassus Hospice wants to thank you for allowing the students to take the
time and do this. We hope we can keep the students involved with many
holidays to come.
Sincerely,
<-
