From the Desk of the Superintendent…

In this season of gratitude, I would like to express my thanks to the many members of the school and
Colchester community who have continually prioritized the educational, social, and emotional needs
of Colchester students.

I am grateful for the endeavors of the Board of Education and would like to thank former Board
members Amy Domeika, Mitch Koziol, Christopher McGlynn, and Joanne Rose for dedication
and service to the students of Colchester during their terms on the Board. Please join me in
welcoming new Board of Education members Donna Antonacci, Alexander Oliphant, Rosemary
Gignac, and Marguerite Gignac. Elected on November 2, they were sworn in to office on
November 15. These volunteers will be instrumental in the continual growth of and investment
in student achievement.

I am thankful for the opportunity to lead such a dedicated staff that has gone above and beyond
to keep students safe and educate them. Their flexibility in adapting in response to this ever-
evolving pandemic era has been remarkable.

Thank you to the students, who have adapted to the protocols that have been established to
keep them safe and foster a dynamic learning environment.

Thank you to the parents, who have been respectful of the needs of the District and giving us
the time to work through the requirements of educating during a global pandemic.

Thank you to the Colchester community for supporting the efforts of the District. We as a
community are united in the focus of nurturing our students to reach their full potential.
Together we all contribute to fulfilling the mission of “we create innovative thinkers for a
dynamic world.”
