MEMBERS PRESENT: Amy Domeika, Suesen Hickey, Chris McGlynn

1. CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
   Chair Domeika called the meeting to order at 5:30PM.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT
   None.

3. *APPROVAL OF MINUTES
   Motion by: S. Hickey
   To approve the August 3, 2021 Personnel Committee meeting minutes.
   Second by: C. McGlynn
   Vote: Unanimous
   Roll Call: S. Hickey, C. McGlynn, A. Domeika

4. *PRIORITY DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
   4.1 Human Resources Update
       Director of Human Resources Shannon Ramsby shared an HR update. Discussion ensued
       on hiring since the summer and other personnel initiatives.
   4.2 *Superintendent Evaluation Process
       Superintendent Burt shared a sample superintendent evaluation developed by his
       professional association. A timeline for the process was discussed. There will be two initial
       reviews in August and December, with a final review in June.
   4.3 Legislative Update
       Superintendent Burt shared an update on how new statutory requirements will impact
       personnel. Shipman and Goodwin are providing policy updates for review.
   4.4 Personnel Handbook Update
       A digital copy of the Personnel Handbook is in development, to incorporate recent statutory
       developments.

   5.2 *4118.112P Sex Discrimination and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace (PERSONNEL)

      Superintendent Burt shared policy updates recommended by Shipman and Goodwin based
      on legislative revisions. 4112.5P, Employment Checks, has undergone substantial
      regulatory revisions.

      To move the following policies to the full BOE for a first reading: 5.1 4118.11P
      Nondiscrimination (PERSONNEL); 5.2 4118.112P Sex Discrimination and Sexual
      Harassment in the Workplace (PERSONNEL); and 5.3 4112.5P Employment Checks
      Second by: S. Hickey
      Vote: Unanimous

   None.
