BYLAWS OF THE BOARD
MONITORING PRODUCTS AND PROCESSES
Self-Assessment
The Board must maintain strict adherence to the District’s mission and goals. To monitor its
own success in achieving its goals, the Board may utilize whatever processes deemed
appropriate, including self-assessment and multisource assessments (such as 360-degree
feedback). The Board may also engage outside consultants to facilitate the evaluation process.
The objective of such assessment(s) is to monitor Board progress in all areas of Board
responsibility, including but not limited to: community leadership in education, setting and
ensuring compliance with District goals, allocating community resources appropriately,
developing and revising Board policies and maintaining adherence to such policies, selecting
and evaluating the Superintendent and promoting collaborative and positive relations with all
District staff.
