According to the Board of Education Policy on weeding (6163.1 e&f), the literacy department at
Colchester Elementary School would like to remove the items on the attached list.
CES ELA Outdated Resources
The items to be removed are our previous reading, writing, and phonics core programs,
intervention programs, as well as an outdated reading assessment. We have also accumulated
free samples of ELA Resource packages that have been sent to CES as we explored other core
programs.
All usable teacher resource materials have been offered to teachers for use in the classroom. I
am in search of buy-back programs and charities to donate these materials for any remaining
materials.
