American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Award for Continuing Education
The Continuing Education Board (CEB) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA) takes great pleasure in informing you that Mrs. Janice E
Passacantando was granted a 1st Award for Continuing Education (ACE) on March,
2021. Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may meet the requirements of
the ACE by earning seven ASHA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) which is equivalent
to 70 contact hours in a thirty-six month period.
Credit toward the ACE must be earned within a three-year period; however, some
individuals complete the requirements in less time and are awarded successive ACEs in
less than three years.
ASHA encourages professionals to continue learning throughout their professional
career and to maintain current knowledge and skills. To facilitate this, we approve
providers to offer relevant continuing education activities, and we recognize
professional participation through the ACE.
Mrs. Janice E Passacantando joins a select group of individuals who have made a
concerted, personal effort to continue professional learning beyond an academic
degree. We hope you share our pride in this accomplishment.
Sincerely,
oe Onn Brisevaom Mage Shiite.
