   1. CALL TO ORDER
      Chair C. McGlynn called the meeting to order at 5:33PM.

       4.1 November 16, 2020
           Motion by:​ S. Hickey
           To approve the minutes of the November 16, 2020 Policy Committee meeting
           Second by:​ A. Domeika

   5​. *​PRIORITY DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS: POLICIES/REGULATIONS
         FOR A FIRST READING
         5.1 Series 6000P Home Schooling
             Superintendent Burt shared a recommendation for a temporary amendment to the
             current policy on Home Schooling to allow for limited access to District programs and
             materials during pandemic. Currently the District is under no legal obligation to
             provide support to home schooled students. Discussion ensued of the scope of access
             to materials and resources only. There will be no access to instruction. A temporary
             policy 6000.1T Home Schooling will be drafted for the full BOE to review on January
             12, 2021.
         5.2 3420P Tuition Fees
        Superintendent Burt discussed special education costs under the newly revised 3420P
        Tuition Fees policy. This policy was recently amended to include discounted tuition
        for employees of the District. Inclusion of costs associated with special education are
        under discussion. A revised version will be presented to the Policy Committee on
        January 25, 2021, and a regulation will be developed.
    5.3 4000P Concepts and Roles in Personnel
        This policy was previously reviewed by the Personnel Committee.
    5.4 4118.51P Social Networking
        This policy was previously reviewed by the Personnel Committee.
    5.5 4214P Transfer/Reassignment
        This policy was previously reviewed by the Personnel Committee. It will be sent for
        legal review and presented to the Policy Committee for a second reading on January
        25, 2021.

        To move policies 5.3: 4000P Concepts and Roles in Personnel and 5.4: 4118.51P
        Social Networking, with possible revisions, to the full BOE for a first reading.

12.​ ​ESTABLISH JANUARY 25, 2021 AGENDA PRIORITIES
      The Committee will review updates to 3420P Tuition Fees and 4214P
      Transfer/Reassignment at the Policy Committee meeting on January 25, 2020. There will
      also be a policy related to Title IX for review. Priorities are to continue to finish updating
     the 5000 series policies and also addressing any immediate need for COVID-19 related
     policies.
