Dear Superintendent Burt,
Please accept this letter as formal notification that | intend to retire from my position as history teacher at William J.
Johnston Middle School at the end of this school year, 2020-2021.
| came for a one year position and was lucky enough to stay for twenty-one years. | have had a wonderful tenure here at
William J. Johnston Middle School. In these years | have greatly enjoyed and appreciated the students, tremendous
support from my administration and found a wonderful working environment with a talented and dedicated group of
colleagues. | thank them all for this rich career.
If there is anything more you need from me in order to qualify for retirement please let me know. y
