   1. CALL TO ORDER
      Acting Chair C. McGlynn called the meeting to order at 4:04PM.

   2. CITIZEN COMMENTS
      Katherine Kosiba, President of the Colchester Garden Club, joined to provide suggestions
      for discussion on the proposed BOE policy: 1180P Memorials to Deceased Students and
      Staff (Agenda item 6.2).

      Tiffany Quinn, Director of Colchester Parks and Recreation, joined to provide input for
      discussion on the policy and regulation 1330P and 1330R: Facility Use (Agenda item 5.1).

   3. ​APPROVAL OF MINUTES
       3.1 January 6, 2020
           Motion by:​ S. Hickey
           To approve the minutes of the January 6, 2020 Policy Committee meeting.

   4. ​PRIORITY DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
       4.1 To nominate a Chair of the Policy Committee
           Motion by:​ A. Domeika
           To nominate Chris McGlynn as Chair of the Policy Committee.
           Second by:​ S. Hickey
           Vote:​ Unanimous

   5. ​POLICIES/REGULATIONS FOR A FIRST READING
      5.1 1330P and 1330R Facility Use
       Town of Colchester Parks and Recreation Director Tiffany Quinn raised concerns
       about the Use of Facility Fees being cost prohibitive for the Parks and Recreation
       program. She is requesting a waiver of fees. This would not be a loss of revenue to
       the district, as fees generally cover custodial needs for having groups in the building
       outside of school hours.
  5.2 3240P Tuition Fees
       Current tuition fees are set at current expenditure per pupil. Proposed changes bring
       lower tuition fees in line with surrounding districts.
  5.3 5142P Student Safety
  5.4 9325.2 Bylaw on Order of Business
      Motion by: ​ A. Domeika
      To move policies 3240P Tuition Fees, 5142P Student Safety, and Bylaw 9325.2 Order of
      Business to the full BOE for first readings. 1330P and 1330R Facility Use will undergo
      revision and will be reviewed by Committee at the May 18, 2020 Policy Committee
      meeting.

        Tabled for further development.

    Series, and addressing any policies that require immediate attention.
