Dear Mr. Cavalieri:
Enclosed, please find a check in the amount of $ 684.00 made out to the Miracle League Southeast CT.

JJIS faculty and students proudly participated in the recent outreach fundraiser, which supports the building of
The Miracle League Field, in East Lyme, Connecticut. Once agreed upon by staff to participate in this very
worthwhile campaign, in just three short days, we were able to raise $ 684.00 in cash. Additionally, a check for
$ 50.00 was given to Mr. Putnam from a local family, which in turn, will also be matched by their employer.

Here at JJIS, we strive to help those within our community. The opportunity to help another school district,
allowed for our students to reach further to help another community in need. Following the brief assemblies
presented by Mr. Putnam to all students here at JJIS, they were eager to participate knowing that this field will
be a place where children with physical, cognitive and developmental challenges can participate in sports of all
kinds in a welcoming, non-competitive atmosphere.

Please accept our donation (totaling $ 784.00) on behalf of the staff and student body here at Jack Jackter
Intermediate School. We wish you the best of luck as you move forward to see this incredible vision come to
fruition.
