Dear Matt:
After 27 years of being an office professional at Bacon Academy, | have decided to retire. | plan to
complete the 2019-20 school year making my official last day June 30, 2020.
Leaving my Bacon family weighs heavy on my heart but | feel this is the right time for me to begin a new
chapter in my life. Tom and | want to do some bucket-list traveling, | want to be able to give time freely
to my children and my grandchildren, and more importantly | want to be able to spend quality time with
my mother who | am very fortunate to still have in my life.
During my time at Bacon Academy, | have been very fortunate to have worked with so many wonderful
people. | have seen approximately 4500 student’s graduate from Bacon Academy and feel blessed to
have played a role in their education. | will miss interacting with the students, staff, and all who are a
part of this family called Bacon Academy.
