Johnston Middle School According to the Board of Education Policy on weeding, 6163.1(e), and the disposition of outdated books, 3260, the library in the William J. Johnston Middle School Media Center would like to remove 800 books. @ The nonfiction and reference titles are considered aged, obsolete, or have time sensitive topics and/or no longer support the curriculum or student/faculty interests or have not circulated in over 5 years. ® Some fiction titles were paperbacks and in poor condition. Other fiction books, both hardcover and paperbacks, have not circulated in over 5 years. Classic and popular titles have been re-ordered. ® All materials have been offered to teachers and staff for classroom use. @ The materials have been offered to Cragin Memorial Library.
