Debt-service share = adopted debt service ÷ total adopted expenditures, both from the town's current adopted budget. Debt per resident = audited bonded long-term debt ÷ population, both from the audited indicators file for its most recent year. Pension and retiree-health obligations are separate liabilities and are not in either figure.
