2022 – 2023 Operating Budget
The Board originally requested a budget for the 2022 – 2023 School Year in the amount
of $42,225,701. At the referendum held on May 24th voters approved an amount of
$42,025,701. Therefore, we need to decrease our budget by $200,000.
I have met with principals, central office administrators and others responsible for the
development and implementation of the operating budget. The bulk of the $200,000 will
come from two (2) positions of individuals who have resigned and we are
recommending they not be replaced.
Position #1 $92,894 (Salary and Benefits)
Position #2 $83,166 (Salary and Benefits)
$176,060 total
The amount of $176,060 leaves a remaining $23,940 to make up the $200,000 cut.
The Communications/Public Relations Office Professional at Central Office recently left
our employ. For the 2022 - 2023 School Year her salary would be $41,191. I’m
recommending that we do not replace that position, at this time, and utilize that money
to meet the remainder of the budget cut ($23,940).
